I would desperately like to know why the news of England failing to qualify for Euro 2008 was the top story on the Radio 2 news this morning. a) it’s only a game, b) footballers are paid ridiculous amounts of money just to kick a ball around - why should their sport get more publicity, and thus fuel their huge salaries?
